un'occhiata a PAL 2017
The pilot edition of Paesaggio.Art.Landscape took place from the 9th March till the 17th March 2017. Four couples, made up of an Italian and international artist, were invited to create art works during their artistic open air residency. The public was able to discover the works with performances during the art walks. The works were of high quality, innovative and received with great enthusiasm by the public. During the creation week, six schools visited the artists' work-in-progress (about 120 pupils aged between 3 and 18). Two photographers exhibited as a side program of the art walks. Two hundred and eighty seven (287) pedestrians, young and old, took part in the walks and let themselves be immersed in the magic of the landscape of the Morainic Amphitheatre of Ivrea. The walking guides were a mix of community volunteers and 23 high school students from Biella. The event had great resonance in the villages and towns around the lake. A documentary was made for the event by the video maker Cristina Fino.
